Rachel Bergman is an innovative, energetic and results-driven executive with 20+ years of experience leading and scaling digital marketing and advertising businesses. Rachel is the President of Royalton Associates, a strategic advisory firm focused in the areas of:
interim executive leadership
business model definition and scaling
digital advertising/email marketing and "customer success" transformation
M&A strategy and execution
data and analytics optimization for start-ups and more established B2B and B2C companies
geographic expansion
Before founding Royalton Associates in 2014, Rachel was most notably the SVP/GM of Experian CheetahMail which was, at the time, the largest enterprise email marketing company in the world. Rachel was with CheetahMail 2 years prior to the business being acquired by Experian in 2004, and led the company from 2008-2011. Rachel was responsible for all GTM functions with full P&L responsibility, and was the Global Product Leader.
CheetahMail was known throughout the industry as being “customer obsessed.” Rachel ran the client services/customer success organization from her first to her last day at CheetahMail, and is most proud of the relationships she and her team were able to build with their clients by truly understanding their business challenges and coming up with new and efficient ways to solve them.
Rachel has also worked at companies such as Persado (AI mar-tech) and the Harland Clarke Holding Company (Valassis Digital and Harland Clarke), and also ran Experian’s Facebook marketing business.
Rachel started her consulting practice working for Progrexion and Valassis which were both being run by former top Experian executives she had worked with previously. Rachel also consulted for Experian post leaving the business full-time, and has led successful projects for start-ups including CertainSource and Merchant Resource Group.
Rachel grew up in NYC and graduated with Honors from The Johns Hopkins University. Rachel landed her first job in internet ad sales in 1998, and has never looked back. Rachel lives just outside the city with her husband and two children. Rachel and her husband found themselves getting a drink at the Royalton on 44th St in Manhattan on their first date, and the name has held significance for them since that night.
